Throughout this stage, as the architect, we will inspect the building works to make sure it is being built according to the building contract.

The contract used will depend on the size of the project. We prefer to use the ABIC (Australian Building Industry Commission) range of contracts as they allow for the architect to act independently from both client and builder.

We, the architect, become an impartial agent to you, the client, and to the builder so that the contract can be fair and reasonable.
